These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LuxeBook, operated by Modern Logic Tech Solutions ("Company", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using LuxeBook you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The Service
LuxeBook is a cloud-based appointment scheduling tool for independent beauty and wellness professionals. Features include: a public client-facing booking page, appointment calendar, client records, WhatsApp reminder helpers, and business settings.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice. We will endeavour to give at least 30 days' notice before discontinuing the service entirely.
2. Accounts
You must sign in with a valid Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You must not share your account with others or use it for any purpose other than operating your own solo beauty/styling business.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Subscription & Payment
LuxeBook is a paid service after a 30-day free trial. Current pricing is $9/month or $79/year (USD). Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from Settings › Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — access continues until then.
All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card details. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.
A credit card is required to start the free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use LuxeBook for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise attempt to extract source code or data from the platform
- Use automated tools to make bookings or spam the booking page
- Store sensitive personal data beyond what is needed for booking purposes (e.g., do not store payment card details or medical records in appointment notes)
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise access to LuxeBook
5. Your Data & Content
You own all data you enter into LuxeBook — your services, client records, and appointment history. By using LuxeBook you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store your clients' personal data and that you comply with any applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction (e.g., PDPA in Malaysia, GDPR in the EU).
You can export all your data as CSV at any time. When you delete your account, your data is permanently erased within 30 days.
6. Intellectual Property
LuxeBook and all its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Modern Logic Tech Solutions and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the platform without our prior written consent.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
LuxeBook is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or that lost data can always be recovered.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Modern Logic Tech Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of LuxeBook. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay your subscription. We will give advance notice where reasonably practicable. Upon termination, your access to the service ceases and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of LuxeBook after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Data Storage, Backup & Export
Your data is stored securely with Turso (powered by LibSQL), a managed cloud database provider. Automated database backups are performed daily. However, these backups are maintained for our internal disaster-recovery purposes and we do not guarantee the recovery of any specific version of your data in the event of accidental deletion or corruption caused by user action.
You are responsible for your own data. We strongly encourage you to regularly export your appointment history and client list from the Settings page. LuxeBook provides built-in export tools (CSV format) for this purpose. In the event of account termination or service discontinuation, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted.
12. Limitation of Liability
LuxeBook is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Modern Logic Tech Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of revenue or profits
- Loss of business opportunities or bookings
- Loss, corruption, or unauthorised access to data
- Business interruption caused by service downtime or outages
- Any action or inaction of third-party services (Stripe, Turso, Google, Resend, etc.)
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to LuxeBook in the 3 months preceding the claim.
13. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure outages, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may cause temporary interruptions. Outages or downtime do not entitle users to refunds or credits for any portion of a billing period, except where required by applicable law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
