Modern Logic Tech Solutions ("we", "our", or "us") operates LuxeBook (luxebook.app). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By using LuxeBook you agree to this policy.
1. Who We Are

2. Data We Collect
2a. Stylist Account Data
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We store your email and display name in our database to identify your account. We do not store your Google password.
2b. Business Configuration Data
We store your working hours, services, prices, break preferences, special schedules, and reminder message templates. This data is necessary to operate the booking system.
2c. Client Data (entered by you)
When a client books through your booking page or you add them manually, we store:
- Client name
- Client phone number
- Appointment history (service, date, time, notes)
This data belongs to you (the stylist). You are the data controller for your clients' data. We act as a data processor on your behalf. You are responsible for informing your clients that their booking details are stored in LuxeBook.
2d. Usage & Technical Data
We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, request timestamps, and browser/device type. This data is used for security, rate limiting, and debugging. Logs are retained for 30 days.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To operate and provide the LuxeBook service
- To authenticate you via Google Sign-In
- To display your public booking page to clients
- To send last-minute booking email notifications to you (if configured)
- To process subscription payments via Stripe
- To prevent abuse through rate limiting
- To improve the product (aggregated, anonymised analytics only)
We do not sell your data or your clients' data. We do not use it for advertising.
4. Sub-processors
We use the following third-party services to operate LuxeBook. Each is bound by its own privacy and security commitments.

5. Data Retention
- Your account data is retained as long as your account is active.
- Deleted clients and services are kept in Trash for 7 days, then permanently deleted.
- Cancelled appointments remain in your history for reference and are never auto-deleted.
- When you delete your account, all your data (including client records and appointments) is permanently erased within 30 days.
- Server logs are retained for up to 30 days.
6. Data Portability
You can export all your appointment and client data as CSV files at any time from Settings › Export Data. This is your data and you are free to use it however you wish.
7. Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+). Database access is restricted to the application server. Authentication is handled exclusively through Google OAuth — we never store passwords. We implement rate limiting on all public-facing endpoints to protect against abuse.
8. Cookies
LuxeBook uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. No cookie consent banner is required for strictly necessary session cookies.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, port, or erase your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
10. Children's Privacy
LuxeBook is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of LuxeBook after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
